WHere is a home-style interpretation of a beverage found on a new cocktail list. Designed as a large-volume prepared mix that's packed with essence of a festive period, making it excellent for your festive gathering. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup you can use for breakfast cocktails, desserts, or to mix additional servings of bikinis.

Makes enough for 10 guests
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Put all the ingredients into a pot, bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve. After that, take off the burner and leave to cool down entirely. Decant to a clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for up to a month.
For the Cocktail Base: Mix every spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then filter it , ideally through a fine cloth, making it completely strained.
To serve: Pour 85ml of the premix into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir carefully for a minute to cool it down. Filter to a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries and finish using a quick spritz of the essential oil over the drink.
